To avoid mildew growth don't wipe the clean area once you're done cleaning it. Of course bleach is not the perfect go to product, it cannot be used on porous materials and furniture like wood. Bleach is an intense cleaning product with harsh fumes and mixing it with ammonia or other cleaners can be extremely dangerous and toxic.
